What is the use, with the Republicans in power? I am discouraged the way the election turned out. Evidently the majority of Americans believe that it is more important to prevent the woman's right to choose and reveal their anti gay sentiment. It is not important that George Bush led us into war unnecessarily most likely because he wanted his constituents to control Iraq oil and of course there is the underlining factor that a war president has more of a chance of getting reelected. Our war with Iraq had nothing to do with al-Quaeda or WMD (war materials of mass destruction). Verily likely he lied to congress and not only set stage for beheadings and the sex scandal at Abu Ghraib by not abiding with the Geneva conventions. How unwise! How foolish! Also in order to avoid from being prosecuted for war crimes he established a policy that this country will not allow officials from this country to be prosecuted in world war tribunals. However we are conducting them for Saddam. This seems like a Kangaroo court for the world to see. Is this hypocrisy like never before seen? It is no wonder we are in the state that we are in. How could it be any other way? Evidently with the Republicans in power it is unlikely that there will be even an independent investigation regarding this abuse to power. Not allowing investigation to determine wrongdoing makes them a participant. There is evidently no justice and our country is paying for it dearly.
