Thanksgiving and reflection
I was eating at Fazolis in Terre Haute In. A man came in the store came off the street and asked for a meal. The manager refused. I went on like every one else like it was not any of my business. As I left, I saw him sitting on a bench. How I had wished that I had paid for his meal. What would it have hurt? Now I am left with the haunting impression of that man sitting on a bench looking at me with a hungry stare. How I wished that I had done the right thing and fed this man at least one meal. Every Thanksgiving as I sit in front of a table of plenty this man’s blank hungry stare haunts me. It also reminds me as to how thankful we should be for our friends and family and our table loaded with plenty of meats, vegetables, and deserts.
Last week an individual told me how his son and some of his friends had gathered together and made a number of sandwiches out of peanut butter and jelly. This group of good Samaritans then went to the ghetto district and passed these sandwiches out. He said that the people on the receiving end were very grateful and appreciative.
Indeed we are tied up in our own little world of the more fortunate and educated where we have or can make a living. We do not know what it is like not being in a world of the uneducated or unprivileged. We do not know what it is like not being able to find a job or what it is like not being able to feed our family or ourselves. We do not know what it is like to be addicted to drugs or be blackballed because we have a prison record.
A few years ago I had the privilege of teaching GED to prisoner inmates at Spencer In. You picture prison inmates as being mean unruly, vulgar and even pathetic. However I found them to be none of the above. In the one six month period we had eight prisoners tested and passed the GED tests. Perhaps this helped them to obtain jobs when they got out of jail. I found these jailed students to be nice and appreciative more so than some ordinary high school students. Because they had their knocks in life, they were more willing and receptive to do what was necessary to get out of this rut in life. I looked around me in this prison environment. As I remember the windows were about six inches by about a foot. I remember their outside recreation area as being an area about the size of a room with a basketball goal. The overhead of this room was grated with prison bars. There was no way that you could see the outside without looking through prison bars. Even the small time I was in this environment, I got the pent up feeling and wondered what it would be to be in this pent up environment day after day. The jail was always loaded beyond capacity. There was no way someone could go outside or even run around a small area in the open sunshine ever.
In a GED/prison seminar I once voiced my opinion to a Judge. I told him of having a German Police dog that was given to me. This dog had been attached to a pole on a log chain. Children had gone by and threw things at it and of course the dog responded by threatening and vicious lunges. After the dog was given to me, I was out in the country and gradually let the dog loose out in the country. The dog mellowed. The vicious characteristics disappeared. I told the Judge that prisoners being pent up like they are help develop such vicious tendencies. The Judge agreed with me.
Yes, we have a lot to be thankful for which includes or friends, family, church, and that we were not raised in such an environment like some of these prisoners that helped lead them to a life of crime.

What is fact or fiction about Mad Cow?
What is fact or fiction about the mad cow disease? Listed below are several claims listed on different web sights.
The disease originated in New Guinea when the natives practiced cannibalism.
Heat does not kill mad cow. You can catch the mad cow disease even though the meat was subjected to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
The incubation period lasts up to 80 years so how do you know when the disease is eradicated?
If we eat a cow infected with this disease before the disease has developed can we get it?
You can get mad cow by eating brains, blood, and even drinking milk.
Deer wasting disease and mad cow are the same. According to an article in Outdoor Life magazine conservation authorities trying to make deer larger and stronger by giving the deer protein supplements made from dead animal carcasses started life the deer wasting disease. How it is passed from deer to deer is not fully known.
Our government wants to error on the side of money and not protect the public. They test less than 1% of the cattle population, we have detected one or perhaps two cases of mad cow where as Japan has detected 14 cases. Our officials claimed that the last cow did not have mad cow. Then what did it have? The test we use and what Japan uses are not the same therefore method of testing is in question. Is the US using the correct test?
The number cases in England are escalating. Is this because of the mad cow incubation period?
Ok! The US has stopped feeding protein supplements from dead animals to cattle but one web sight says that they are feeding these supplements to chickens, and turkeys, and even hogs. Is it possible to get this disease through other meats? Some of these animals are usually slaughtered before they are a year old long before the gestation period. Is not feeding these protein supplements waiting for a disaster to happen?
Are government test officials a bunch of cronies protecting the meat industry and not the consumer? Likely! Time will tell whether or not the above statements are true. Perhaps the last question is are you going to play Russian roulette to get mad cow, which is always fatal, by continuing to eat meat and especially beef products?

Who is Gonzales?
Who is Gonzales ?
Mr. Gonzales is Bush’s appointment for the new Attorney General, replacing Ashcroft. Gonzales when compared to Ashcroft is not as much of a religious radical, but not much of an improvement in the wisdom category. Gonzales is the type of appointment you would expect the Bush administration.
Mr. Gonzales-
1) Did the legal work that led to the torture of detainees at Abu Ghraib.
2) Claimed the war on terrorism renders obsolete portions of the Geneva Conventions.
3) Favors changing the 1978 Presidential Records Act to severely restrict access to presidential documents.
4) Is a strong backer of the Patriot Act.
5) Appears to be dismissive of international law.
6) Has argued that international treaties signed by the United States did not bind the state of Texas.
Among the groups who voiced opposition to him are-The Center for Constitutional Rights, People for the American Way, and Human Rights First.
Even some conservatives are skeptical of his views on abortion and affirmative action.
Isn’t Bush Jr. surrounding himself with great and smart people or what?

Prediction for four more years of George Bush
Prediction outcome is for four more years of the same.
I accurately predicted that Iraq did not have and weapons of mass destruction and had nothing to do with al-Quada. Now I predict what another four years of Bush $ Co. will bring to this country. I pray that I am wrong. Listed below are my predictions for the next four years with the same Bush policies.
1. Terrorism. The war on actual terrorists will continue. More terrorists will be killed and yet more will be recruited as has been done in the past because some are misled to believe it is a religious war. Cities like New York are on a timetable to destruction by nuclear weapons unless we start combating their ideology instead of merely killing people.
2. Corporate giveaways. There will be more corporate giveaways to the rich that does not spur the economy. The reason this money will be used to generate more jobs in foreign countries.
3. Drug prices. Bless his heart; George has a mandate to raise drug prices. He will not allow cheaper drugs to be imported from Canada and will not allow block buying that forces drug prices down. He will permit drug companies to extend their patents on drugs therefore driving up prices and avoiding competitive generic drugs. Drug company will continue to buy extensive vacations for doctors and other perks. They will also invest in champains and pay for extravagant parties for our congressmen. You would not want them to make laws that would make drug prices cheaper for you, would you?
4. Lies. II expect more lies like in the past. Right wing news organizations will cover up these lies. Evidently the president lying and proclaiming himself as a Christian is the signature of a Christian and American. Remember Christians voted him in. Lying disgusts me whether or not it is from Clinton or Bush. I am tired of it! Congress should make it a felony to for a public official to delibertly lie to the public. The only problem is that they will have to make it law for themselves and that will be the day.
5. Opinion. Because of the lies that got us into the war with Iraq, do not expect Europeans to help with Iraq and do not expect their opinions to change about us being arrogant, phony, or ignorant.
7. Iraq. I expect the confusion between terrorism, countrymen, insurgents, and religious fanatics to continue. Remember terrorists are the ones who attacked the World Trade Center. Countrymen are like the Bath party from former Saddam regime. Insurgents are people from other country volunteering to protect a Muslim country from the occupiers (our forces) and the religious fanatics like those from Iran that also believe we are the infidels.
8. Education. Education for this country is not likely to improve because the way we improve education is to build better buildings and that does nothing to improve education. Education is something that the entire community has to improve. I believe this could happen; however I do not see this happening soon.
9. Exporting jobs. I expect jobs to be exported big time. Remember 1/2 of the people voted for George therefore he believes he has a mandate to make jobs obsolete in this country and reduce our exports.
10. Supreme court. Nominees on the Supreme Court will be ultra right. Abortion will be abolished and there will be little or no stem cell research. Women will have to abort the babies themselves or go to illegal butcher doctors for an abortion. And if there is a disagreement about an election it will be processed by the right wing cronies on the Supreme Court. Wisdom on the supreme court will be completely out the window. Won't this country be great or what?
10. Controled press. Bush will do what he can do to control press and virtually eliminate any protest marches. Remember that is democracy (or is it Nazism) because we were attacked and any one who objects are not patriotic. Sound familiar?
Now since I have cited my predications, lets see how many of them will come true. I will make an effort to remind you when they become true or admit I am wrong. I will also make other predications or remove them as appropriate.
Stay tuned!
What did the Democrats do wrong? They did not prove to the public that this regime in not creditable.
What did the Democrats do wrong to loose this election? Unfortunately more than half of the population believes Bush is truthful. Likely, because they listen to the Fox network which only showed them the parts that made Bush look good. Throughout the campaign I saw both Bush and Cheney spout flip-flopping with lies. When they were pressured to tell the truth they would. However when on a Champaign trail they would go back telling lies. I am going make an effort to obtain copies of these flip flop lies for those who do not believe that this group lies, lies and lies. Multiple lies are what got us into Iraq in the first place. Were these lies intentional? Likely! Did they intentionally lie to congress? Likely! Can it be proved that these lies were intentional? Not likely but perhaps in time.

We do not need drugs from Canada to save.
Why are drugs so high in the US as compared to Canada?
Canada has a block buying system that buys large amounts of drugs on the competitive market.
The problem in the United States is the vicious money cycles.
Drug companies buy political influence from huge profits made from you and I. The Drug companies contribute to Champaign funds of both Democratic and Republican Congressmen and Presidential candidates. These companies also pay for large parties, country club gatherings seminars to Hawaii and Florida getaways.
In order to pay for these perks, Congress and the President pay for the drug companies generosity by giving tax breaks, making laws favorable to the drug companies that will them to jack up our drug prices to you and I. They also write laws that will not permit competitive block buys like Canada.
Drug companies pay off doctors by providing perks such as free luncheons, paid trips to vacation resorts to pitch a certain drug combined with vacations and a lot of fun. Doctors earn these perks by prescribing higher priced drugs to their customers, you and I.
Doctors void your trust by prescribing a higher priced no generic drug which in all likelihood is not any better than the generic drug.
With a stacked deck like this how do you save?
1) Inform your doctor that you only want generic drugs. If he does not prescribe generic drugs then you will find a doctor who will. I did this with my wife .I found that for each change from no generic to generic you usually save by a factor of 10. For example, if the nonprescription drug cost $40 the generic drug would be as low as $4.
2) Refuse drugs that are not generic. For example a pharmacy gave me two drugs and antibiotic and nose spray for a cost of $17. I refused the drug and told the doctor that I was not accepting any drug where generic would do the same thing. The doctor changed the prescription to generic for a cost of $3.50.
3) Where possible buy in block buys. This is usually done with the people you work with or your employer Insurance Company.
Legislation is needed that prevents conflict of interest as described above. It is up to insist that your congressmen write laws with enforceable penalties that prevent such abuse.
Bin Laden tape
"Your security is not in the hands of Kerry, Bush or al-Qaida. Your security is in your own hands,'' bin Laden said, referring to the president and his Democratic opponent, John Kerry. ``Any state that does not mess with our security has naturally guaranteed its own security.''
My post on Oct 11 described measures that are only reasonable to be taken to prevent terrorism. Most Americans likely are not aware that we mess with the security of Muslim states. The question we need to entertain is what motivates these madmen? I believe what motivates these madmen is the fact that the people of Israel and Palestine treat each other not as if they would want to be treated but with the dignity less than animals. In addition we are not an unbiased broker as most Americans think. I suggest reviewing web sight http://ifamericansknew.org/. Our quest for oil and greed brings us into cultures we are not familiar with and do not understand. Our country blunders in these countries and other countries like a bull in a china shop.
The cost of terrorism is too great. It is and will drive this country into bankruptcy. The simpler solution is to understand those who do not understand us. First we must make sure to convey to the world by deed that we are not against the Muslim religion. We need to show the world that we are an unbiased broker to the Israel Palestine question. We must leave without question that we are for Israel and for the Palestine people.
We also should become independent from oil. If we do not need oil, the Arab influence over us will disappear. An energy source is needed that not only competes with oil but is less pollutant and more cost effective. I will discuss alternative fuels that meet these criteria in future postings.
Remember, you read it first on this sight.

Expenditures may not be required to improve education
We can use our money more wisely when it comes to education. I recommend the following to improve achievement in education at little if any additional cost :
Invest in teachers. Instead of investing in buildings our education would be more wisely spent on teacher salaries, books, and materials. This will give you more bang for the buck.
Use old books. Most books should be reused year after year only updated rarely. Major subjects such as Math, English etc. has not changed for the last 100 years so why waste our dollars for new books.
Learn basics. Although computers and supplicated math calculators are important it is very important that students learn the basic skills such as multiplication tables before they are allowed to even use computers. It should be required that before any student is admitted to high school he should know multiplication tables and phonics. Most students today do not even know multiplication tables and this prevents them in math skills such as algebraic manipulations and factoring. These skills are very important from Algebra through Calculus and Physics. Skills like these are needed in every day life because if the computer goes down and no calculator is available, where are they?
Require homework. Homework should be common. In today's school homework is the exception. We are now competing with jobs with China and India who require long hours of homework so that they may compete worldwide in the future.
Prioritize subjects. Educators and parents should prioritze subjects. What is more important basketball, soccer, mathematics, physics, or writing? How many people do you know makes a living playing basketball or soccer? Just about every well-paid job requires someone who knows a combination of subjects along with writing. Physical education should be secondary to solid subjects as the basic subjects writing, reading, and mathematics.
Pay teachers of specialized subjects more. Fewer and fewer schools teach physics and mathematics because there are not enough teachers available. They simply do not offer the subject. Instead we should be paying Physics teachers more in order to attract more teachers in that area. The approach we have now is to produce fewer Physicists, which does not help us in this competitive world.
Segregate boys from girls. Everything should be done to avoid distractions to education and this includes sex. Classrooms should be segregated. Boys should be in one classroom with a male teacher and girls should be in a classroom with a female teacher because you do not want boy/girl appeal to distract from education. However competition between boy and girls should be promoted. Educational contests between girls and boys would make learning more active and enjoyable.
Teach morals. Morality, not necessarily a particular religion, but what is wrong or right should be taught in the classroom. The golden rule should be taught and exercised.
Protect teachers. Programs should be initiated nation wide that protects our teachers. Without morality, in most schools if student is disciplined or they do not like their grade they accuse the teachers of misconduct. No accusations should be brought forth without lie detectors given to everyone involved. That is a must! Teachers have informed me that a good percentage of students in today’s schools are habitual liars. Also the state stealing from teacher pensions does not set a good example. This is theft and should not be allowed. It should be punished as a crime. I understand that Indiana has stolen approximately 7 billion from the teachers pension. In today’s society where the state steals their fund blind and teacher are not protected from blatant student lies, who would want to pursue a career in teaching.
Utilize technology. Use technology to promote education where possible. Instruction that is repeated such as fractions, exponents etc. be supplied on DVD. This well save the teachers time as well help the home schooled.
Promote home schooling. Home schooled should be promoted and regarded as a privileged for those who have the ability and resources to learn on their own. Home-schooled students should be tested at least biweekly and returned to regular classroom if they do not keep up with minimal requirements.
Abolish grades. Grades in most schools are watered down and mean little. Instead of grades, numbers should establish level of achievement for the student in each category. Achievement numbers not high enough means certain areas need to be repeated until the concept are learned.
Remember, the more money spent on education does not necessarily improve it. If we are to achieve better education that competes worldwide for jobs then we need to be smart about it.

Kerry supporters-Understand that Bush supporters have been misinformed.
According to the 25 October Bloomington Herald Times on page A3 the majority of Bush supporters 72 % believe that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction or possessed prohibited weapons of mass destruction. The 9/11 Commission and even the Bush administration have established that there were no WMD or weapons of mass destruction in Iraq nor did they have prohibited weapons prior to 9/11. Iraq presented no threat to the US prior to the Iraq conflict.
The article further establishes that 75 % of Bush supporters believe that Iraq either gave al-Qaida substantial support or was in direct involvement in the Sept. 11, 20001 attack. During the Chenney-Kerry debate, Chenney denied that he had said that prior to 9/11 that Iraq had links with al-Qaida. With in minutes they showed a film excerpt where he claimed that Iraq had al-Qaida ties. The 9/11 commission established and the Bush admitted that prior to our Iraq invasion there were no al-Qaida ties.
Yet repeatedly we see the administration claiming that Iraq had al-Qaida ties and had WMD prior to 9-11. Are Bush supporters being duped by their leader or are they stubbornly ignorant to the facts?
Bush got us into the Iraq mess, partly because he only wanted to hear biased information that supported attacking Iraq. Like Bush, most Bush supporters must be blind sided and unable or unwilling to accept known facts. This is sad!

Corporate giveaway?
Now the clincher! This is to be paid by 136 billion in tax loopholes and shelters. Why did not our Senators close these loopholes and apply 136 billion to our nations debt? Are we sure that this will cover the cost? Not likely! Why did we have these loopholes in the first place?
It seems to me that we will be paying multiples thereof for this give away in the future. Again explain to me why we are giving away money that we do not have? Is this related to the election?
Most republicans believe George Bush is a Christian and his word is gospel. Now really?
A Christian is Christ like. Mr. Moore's book documents a multitude of lies that George has said from time to time. Would Christ do that?
Mr. Bush decided not to abide by the Geneva Convention and his new rules or policies led to Iraq's sex prison abuse. In time I believe that will be an impeachable offense.
Would Christ do that?
Another impeachable offense was George’s cronies exposing a CIA agent just because he exposed Georges lie that Iraq tried to ship nuclear material. This NIGER document even turned out to be forged. Was this another one of Bush’s lies? Was this forgery a conspiracy between Tony Blair and George Bush? Who else had the motive? Why is this not investigated further? This will likely turn out to be another impeachable offense. Would Christ do that?
Additional lies? George Bush’s lies continue. One of George Bush’s ads said John Kerry supported a $900 billion dollar tax hike. This is completely false. Bush's ad also claims Kerry supported a 50 cent gas tax -- a powerfully damaging, and untrue claim. Bush and his cronies are using the airwaves to misinform. How many more lies are we gong to see? Again, I ask, would Christ lie like that?
Lies upon lies. The latest lie is these phony Vietnam veterans attacking Kerry’s character. It is amazing what a little money and a few lies can accomplish. This takes away from George Bush’s record of dodging the draft by joining the Guard. Bush’s war record is pathetic at best and he is commander in chief? One can now understand why our military situation in Iraq is such a mess.
No, I cannot consider George Bush as a Christian, but he does exploit the Christian gullible, just like he has exploited 9/11 and our fears. I believe that time will reveal the truth and then Christians will be enraged about how they were duped.
George Bush invaded Iraq. But Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 or terrorist organizations whatsoever. Recent CNN broadcast revealed that Republicans are duped by Bushes propaganda machine where as Democrats are not. Most republicans believe that Iraq had something to do with 9/11. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
What about Saudi Arabia? They are more abusive and all the 9/11 hijackers came from Saudi. Why did we not then invade Saudi Arabia? There are several apparent reasons we invaded Iraq. These include war euphoria, big bully policy, Chaabi, and over all a lack of wisdom.
War euphoria. George wanted to exploit war euphoria. Just look at the signs mission accomplished on the aircraft carrier after we invaded Iraq. There is nothing like war euphoria to get a president reelected. This was another method of George exploiting the ignorant and our war dead. Refer to what Norman Georing said in the NAZI war trials.
Big Bully. Another reason for our invasion of Iraq was our big bully policy. Political Science refers this to as a balance of power. When the power or one nation or nations greatly exceeds the other side there is war. Why did we not invade North Korea? The atrocities in North Korea were much greater. They even have exported WMD. Was this because North Korea could cause thousands of casualties? Iraq basically had no defenses and it would be a cakewalk for our country, so George thought.
Chalabi. Chalabi convinced George to invade Iraq. Chalabi with his ties to Iran wanted Saddam out of there. Our gullible president listened to Chalabi. It was much easier for someone like Chalabi to con our leaders to overthrow Sadam. Now the truth is coming out.
Lack of Wisdom. The bible says that to get wisdom, all you have to do is to ask it for it. George contacted Cheney who made millions in the last Gulf War. Did he refer to God or even his own people such as Powell who advised against invading Iraq. >
Good Guys? Now because of our policies Iraqis are being killed by the thousands. We are even sexually abusing them. Unfortunately this compares to the atrocities committed by Saddam and his sons and we are supposed to be the good guys.
The problem with telling lies is that they eventually catch up with you. I believe that in time George's lies will catch up with him in time and the Christian right will learn not to listen to false prophets, like George. I am looking forward to the day when George's lies catch up him, he is impeached and our boys are brought out of this nightmare and back home where they belong. By bringing our boys home, we will not be further exposing our arrogance and greed that further generates additional terrorists by the thousands.

Solution to outsourcing and trade
Trade. The balance of trade very rarely is in our favor. We again are shipping out our wealth unchecked. Our trade needs to be balanced if we are to retain any wealth in this country whatsoever.
Solution. The solution is to make outsourcing and trade checked. For every dollar in a combination of trade and jobs that we outsource each foreign country must match. If the combination of jobs outsourced and trade in monetary value is not matched then the U.S. applies an escalating tariff. Will this encourage trade wars? Perhaps at the beginning! Can this have an effect on inflation in this country. Likely! That is why I also suggest that the Greenspan team control this delicate trade-labor balance like interest rates are controlled. This solution will keep the wealth in jobs, know-how, and trade in America and spur export of our goods. Since there taxes are used to control the labor-trade exchange extra source of income will help pay on our debt and get foreign countries to buy more of our product. By far it will be better than what we have now.

Similarities as to what led to present Iraq conflict and Desert Storm
Since we are charging these wars on a credit card, the cost of the last two wars will be more than 5 times their original estimated cost. What the real shame is that both wars were completely unnecessary and were caused by the Bush Regime. The elder Bush convinced Saddam that it was all right to attack Kuwait and that we would not do anything about it. Did you know that Bush Sr. started the Gulf war or Operation Desert Storm? The Gulf war started when Saddam attacked Kuwait most people think. The Gulf War really stared by when Saddam understood that we would do not interfere when Iraq invaded Kuwait. What was the basis of this understanding?
On 17 July 1992 Iraqi Foreign Minister Tariq Aziz declared, We are sure some Arab states are involved in a conspiracy against us. And we want you to know our country will not kneel.
On 18 July 1992 Saddam threatened military action. He stated before a large crowd in Baghdad, Cutting a neck is better than cutting a means of life.
During a press meeting on 24 July 1992 State Department Spokesperson Margaret Tutwiler said: We do not have any defense treaties with Kuwait and there are no defense commitments to Kuwait.
On 24 July 1992 Ambassador April Glaspie had a meeting with Saddam Hussein. A transcript of this meeting was given to ABC News in September 1992. During this meeting Saddam left little doubt during the two hour meeting that he was considering an invasion of Kuwait. He bluntly told Glaspie that he considered Kuwait to be engaging in acts of war against Iraq by not assisting with Iraqs war debt of agreeing to limit its production of oil. Glaspie statement was, I have direct instruction from the president to seek better relations with Iraq. Classified documents reveal that Saddam considered Glaspie comments as a green for him to attack Kuwait.
Five days before was obviously preparing to invade Kuwait, William H. Webster warned President Bush Sr. that Saddam Hussein was likely to invade Kuwait. Despite this strong personal warning the Bush administration continued to state publicly that the US would remain neutral in any Kuwait Iraq conflict. Classified documents show that Saddam took U.S. statements as a green light to invade Kuwait. The only possible explanation for the Bush administration was sheer incompetence or was it to con Saddam into a war? Would a war President be more likely to get elected?
On 28 July 1992 CIA director William Webster informed President Bush Sr. they believed and Iraq invasion on Kuwait was imminent. Special CIA agents with Satellite photos showing Iraq troops massed near the Kuwait border. Bush had detailed questions but showed little interest. Despite this information, spokespersons for the Bush administration continued to insist the U.S. would remain neutral.
Lee Hamilton (D-Ind) pressed Assistant of State John Kelly. If Iraq charged across the border into Kuwait-What would be our position in regard to the use of U.S. forces. It is correct to say, however, that we do not have a treaty commitment, which would obligate us to engage U.S. forces there. That is correct. Kelly responded.
On 30 July 1992 Iraq invaded Kuwait.
The White house orchestrated a series of leaks that sandbagged Glaspie, and blamed CIA by saying CIA intelligence was flawed.
Blaming others is a sign that this costly and bloody war suggests this costly war could have been averted. Was this diplomatic blundering due to greed or sheer incompetence? Does this not sound similar to the present Bush administration? What a coincidence! How much has Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. cost this country in money and expense?
Take from http://www.sfbg.com/gulfwar/013091.html and Village Voice, January 22, 1991.
Without a doubt, both wars were caused by the Bush Jr and Bush Sr. .How many people have died because of these unnecessary wars? What about the war debt, which has and is ruining this country? Respect to the dead and ruination of this country because of war debt are compelling reasons why there should be at least an impeachment investigation.

Solution to terrorism
Terrorism has made the news lately. The 9/11 incident caught our eyes. Why O why did someone hate us enough to sacrifice their lives to attack our World Trade Center. This attack killed over 3000 people most of them innocent civilians and some of them of the Muslim faith. They supposedly did this in the name of GOD. The same GOD of Abraham, who Jews and Christians worship. Now the question is, was this God’s doing or man using the name of God to further his or her own ambitions? Were these seemingly intelligent people stupid enough to fall for this con that was done in the name of GOD. There have been wars over the centuries in the name of God. I once asked an atheist why he did not worship God. He said that over centuries thousands upon thousands of people have lost their lives because of religion. The 9/11 disaster appears to be no different. This disaster was associated with religion.
The people who completed this shameful deed did it in the name of GOD while their leaders did not do it in the name of GOD. They did it in the name of hate and evil. But why did they have so much hate. Is this the characteristic of the Muslim faith? I don’t think so. They did it because of the past deeds of America. These deeds included the US occupying land of the Muslim faith, starving millions of babies in Iraq due to our blockade, supplying Israel arms to fight their Arab neighbors, and being a biased broker in the Israel occupation of Arab lands. I am sure that there are other atrocities not listed here but I believe that our leaders should at least investigate and perhaps rectify each atrocity where it is justified. It is not only through words we must follow by deeds to show that the war on terrorism is not a war on the Muslim faith. After this rectification is complete then that we will reduce the need for such terrorist acts. It will be far less costly to us to show the World that we are humane and just when dealing with countries of the Arab faith. We should be just as aggressive in this arena as we are on exterminating the murders of our citizens. Lets stay away from untrue political rhetoric and proceed with wisdom. This may save our Cities from being evaporated with an atomic bomb in the near future.

Why did we invade Iraq?
Herman Georing in the Nuremberg trial who stated the following.
“Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.—hermann georing @ Nuremberg
I plan to in my future postings describe 1) how we solve the Iraq problem, 2) keep our jobs in the US, 3) balances the US budget in four years, 4) solve the US health drug situation, 5) reduce or eliminate terrorism. I will be interested in positive feed back and especially positive solutions.
Lets face it folks, we are not even going to come close to solve these problems with the present President. Senator Kerry has shown that he is a better choice for President however he admits he has no solution for shipping our wealth and know how out of the country.
Future postings will suggest positive changes for the US. I am hopeful that the ideas in this blog will be useful and that our leaders will at least review them and perhaps adopt them.
