Kerry supporters-Understand that Bush supporters have been misinformed.

According to the 25 October Bloomington Herald Times on page A3 the majority of Bush supporters 72 % believe that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction or possessed prohibited weapons of mass destruction. The 9/11 Commission and even the Bush administration have established that there were no WMD or weapons of mass destruction in Iraq nor did they have prohibited weapons prior to 9/11. Iraq presented no threat to the US prior to the Iraq conflict.

The article further establishes that 75 % of Bush supporters believe that Iraq either gave al-Qaida substantial support or was in direct involvement in the Sept. 11, 20001 attack. During the Chenney-Kerry debate, Chenney denied that he had said that prior to 9/11 that Iraq had links with al-Qaida. With in minutes they showed a film excerpt where he claimed that Iraq had al-Qaida ties. The 9/11 commission established and the Bush admitted that prior to our Iraq invasion there were no al-Qaida ties.

Yet repeatedly we see the administration claiming that Iraq had al-Qaida ties and had WMD prior to 9-11. Are Bush supporters being duped by their leader or are they stubbornly ignorant to the facts?
Bush got us into the Iraq mess, partly because he only wanted to hear biased information that supported attacking Iraq. Like Bush, most Bush supporters must be blind sided and unable or unwilling to accept known facts. This is sad!
