Did you ever feel like that you wished you could get your hands on whoever caused this financial crises for our country that they should be exposed? Well read no more, because the following explains who should take the blame.
I read the Washington Post article (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/14/business/14schumer.htm l), which describes how sleazy Senator Schumer is in dealing with bank bail- outs and allowing rip offs to tax payers, stockholders, and bank customers so that CEO's of the banking industry may retain their multimillion-dollar salary. The table (http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2008/12/12/business/20081214-schumer-table.html) shows how we got into this mess regarding loan derivatives. The republicans and Senator Schumer, a democrat, overrode President Clinton’s veto. Is it not a matter of history that banks purchased our politicians by making bribes to campaign coffers and because of these bribes our laws were changed so that banks could charge undeserved bank check return charges, manipulate credit card agreements so that loan shark interest rates could be charged? Now the taxpayers are ripped of again thanks to sleazy politicians. It is when money for Campaign finance and favors granted by Government officials cross, that corruption is defined and because of this corruption our country is in such dire financial condition.
I perceive Senator Schumer’s performance and that of other politicians like Senator Schumer as being pathetic, deceptive, corrupt and immoral. Now it is not that Senator Schemer or the Republicans are such bad people. I like some of what Mr. Schumer has accomplished and stands for but it is our country’s system or laws which allows, permits, encourages, and even requires a politician to be corrupt to obtain money so he can get reelected. It is not until we eradicate the possibility of this perceived corruption, by our laws, will we be able to correct for this country's shortcomings in the future. This correction is the change that the majority voted for so that we will have peace and prosperity in the future.
It is a wrong that that is long overdue to be righted.
